Swindon (Pinehurst) Badminton Club started in 1949 at the Pinehurst Secondary School. A new sports hall was built at the school in 1965 which the club moved in to. Currently we play on Wednesdays at Isambard Sports Hall and Fridays and Saturdays at New college, Swindon.
The Club enters teams in the Swindon & District Badminton League and currently enters 3 mens teams, 2 ladies teams, 3 mixed teams, plus 4 Junior Teams (2 x Under 16s, Under 16s Girls and Under 13s) in the Swindon & District Junior League. The Club has a Social Committee who organises many Social Events, club tournaments and trips to International badminton events.

Junior Section

We have run a successful junior section for over 30 years and have a number of Badminton England qualified coaches.

Swindon-Pinehurst Badminton Club is a Badminton England Premier Club.
